
Food and Beverage Supervisor
Confidential Entertainment Center located in NE Philadelphia is looking to fill the role of Food and Beverage Supervisor.
The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for the day to day management of the Snack Bar and Bar operations, including but not limited to personnel, equipment, inventory management and financial reporting. The Food and Beverage Supervisor should exemplify integrity and the key characteristic of what we expect from our employee: positive attitude, commitment, respect, responsibility and cooperation.
The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for the following:
- Staffing – Recruiting, hiring, and scheduling of the staff.
- Training – train staff member to the level of expectation set by management including food safety and alcohol serving programs.
- Cleanliness - will create and maintain the level of cleanliness thru checklists and procedures with the staff so we continuously operate above the Board of Health and the Liquor Control Boards expectation.
- Menu and Design Pricing - maintain a current menu to insure we have the proper items and pricing presented to our customers. You will also insure that the register is correctly programmed with any changes in pricing.
- Inventory - ensure to maintain adequate inventory levels without keeping excess stock on the shelves. Will also be responsible that all stock is rotated to prevent waste. Utilize the computer to review weekly the “Items sold reports” to monitor sales. Run weekly sales reports comparing sales against prior year(s) numbers and make adjustments and decisions on growing the business.
- Equipment Maintenance and Repair - ensure all equipment is maintained and in good working condition. Any issues should be discussed directly with the General Manager and Mechanic.
- Certifications - ensure that all inspections and certifications, and any other practices needed are maintained as outlined by the Center Manager, Health Department, and PLCB.
- Customer Service/Marketing – leading by example, and communicated expectations, motivating the staff, and ensuring excellent customer service, including training in marketing upsell.
Skills and Abilities:
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office – including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
- ServSafe Certification is a plus
- TIPs Alcohol Certification is a plus
Hour of Operations:
The Entertainment Center operates daily from Monday – Sunday, the Food and Beverage Supervisor may work a flexible schedule that includes night and weekend but limited to a 5 -day work week.
Pay Rate: $25,000 to $30,000 annually.
